    At Echt & Puur, we believe that returns and refunds should be clear, fair, and simple to arrange. On this page, you'll find out exactly how returns and refunds work with us, what conditions apply, and when you'll get your money back. This way, you'll always know where you stand when you order organic products from us.

    How do returns & refunds work?

    If you wish to return one or more products, please report your returns & refunds within 14 days of receiving your order. You can do this by sending an email to contact@bioromania.nl with your order number and a list of the products you wish to return. This arrangement applies to consumers who order online from Echt & Puur in the Netherlands and other EU countries.

    If a product is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. Describe the problem clearly and, if possible, add photos, so that we can process returns and refunds quickly and carefully with a suitable solution, such as a replacement product or a refund.

     Cooling-off period and right of withdrawal (14 days)

    As a consumer, you are entitled to a cooling-off period of at least 14 days after receiving your order for online purchases. Within this period, you can exercise your right of withdrawal without giving a reason and submit a return and refund request to us. This follows from the European rules for distance selling and also applies to orders from Echt & Puur.

    During the cooling-off period, you may inspect the product as you would in a shop. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, please return the products to us unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging where possible. If a product has been used more than is necessary for its inspection, a deduction may be made for a reduction in value upon returns and refunds.​

     Returns & Refunds Costs

    The costs for returning products within the scope of returns and refunds are generally borne by the customer. You may choose your own courier for returns; prices vary by carrier. Always keep your proof of postage and any Track & Trace code so you can prove that the package has been sent.

    If you return your entire order, you will receive a refund for the purchase price of the returned products. The original shipping costs will not be refunded, unless otherwise legally required or agreed upon. For business customers, we may charge the original shipping costs per package, in accordance with our terms and conditions.

     When are returns & refunds processed?

    Once we have received your return, we will check the products for completeness and condition. We will then usually process your returns & refunds within 3–5 working days. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed.​

    For a refund, we will credit the amount back to the same account and using the same payment method with which you paid for the original order. We aim to process returns and refunds as quickly as possible and will do so within 14 days of receiving your return or you having shown that you have sent the products back.

     Exceptions to returns & refunds

    For some products, there are exceptions to returns & refunds. These include, but are not limited to:

    • Products that cannot be returned for hygienic or health reasons if the seal has been broken.

    • Perishable foodstuffs or those with a limited shelf life.

    • Products that have been personalised or custom-made especially for you.
